As License Administrator for the AMR and AMR-WB+ patent pools, VoiceAge accepts submission of patents for determination of their possible essentiality to these standards.

Patents are considered to be essential when they are determined to have at least one independent claim that would be necessarily and unavoidably infringed (in the absence of a license) by the practice of the standard. The determination of patent essentiality is made by an independent patent evaluator.

If you or your organization believes that it owns one or more issued patents that are essential to the practice of AMR or AMR-WB+, then VoiceAge Corporation, as License Administrator on behalf of the Licensors within these patent pools, invites you to submit your patent(s) for determination of their essentiality.

If the independent patent evaluator determines that the submitted patent is essential to the practice of the standard, you are expected to become a Licensor upon the terms and conditions provided by the License Administrator to all new members of the patent licensing program.

For more information on submitting a patent for determination of its essentiality, please follow a link to AMR-WB+ Patent Submission or AMR Patent Submission.
